Healthy Tasty Freeze Pops

Homemade Freezer Pops J YUM!

With Summer soon to be upon us, what will every child in the neighborhood be asking for?

FROZEN POPS OF COURSE !

Here are several easy delicious freezer pops sure to be a hit with you, your kid’s and their friends.

And did I mention they’re super EASY!

Chocolate-Raspberry Frozen Yogurt Pops

Chocolate chips add a sweet counterpoint to these tangy bright-pink raspberry pops. Strawberries would work equally well. Makes: About 10 (3-ounce) freezer pops.

Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries

2 cups plain yogurt, preferably Greek-style

3 tablespoons honey or Stevia (1/2 teaspoon powder or 6 drops liquid)

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Puree raspberries, yogurt and honey to taste in a food processor until smooth. Add the mixture to the freezer-pop molds, stir the chips, and insert the sticks.

Mocha Ice Pops

The Mocha Ice Pop sounds, looks, and most importantly tastes delicous....YUMMM! They are great to make in the summer!!! :) Makes: About 10 (3-ounce) freezer pops.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups Chocolate Almond or Soy milk

3 tablespoons honey or Stevia (1/2 teaspoon powder or 6 drops liquid)

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Whisk Almond or Soy milk, honey to taste and cocoa until the honey has dissolved, then whisk in vanilla and salt until combined. Divide the mixture among freezer-pop molds, insert the sticks and freeze.

Watermelon-Blueberry Ice Pops

This light and refreshing dessert captures the essence of summer. My daughter said she likes them alot better than those (less healthy) frozen store popsicles. The whole blueberries in these pops have the look of watermelon seeds.Makes: About 10 (3-ounce) freezer pops.

Ingredients

3 3/4 cups chopped seedless watermelon

2 tablespoons lime juice

2 tablespoons honey or Stevia (1/4 teaspoon powder or 6 drops liquid)

1 cup fresh (or frozen organic) blueberries

Puree watermelon, lime juice and honey to taste in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add blueberries, top with the watermelon mixture, insert sticks and freeze.
